LJB Logistics is looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers to join our team. The role involves container transport, so previous container experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally
  • Collection and delivery of shipping containers
  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks
  • Ensuring loads and containers are transported safely and securely
  • Following planned routes and delivery schedules
  • Completing required delivery and transport documentation
  • Complying with Drivers’ Hours, Working Time and tachograph regulations
  • Reporting vehicle defects, delays or operational issues promptly
  • Maintaining professional communication with customers, ports, depots and the transport office

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
  • Valid Driver CPC
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous container driving experience preferred
  • Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours and road transport regulations
  • Reliable, punctual and professional
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow transport instructions
